Blackrock Mountains
Perhaps best known as the home of the Burning Hand empire, the Blackrock Mountains is a resource-rich mountain range that spans over one thousand miles in length and nearly five hundred miles at its broadest width. Many dangers still remain in the mountains themselves despite the surrounding lands being settled, and most caravans take safer routes around the mountains rather than risk a trip through one of the few mountain trails. Coal, gems, iron, silver, gold, and other precious metals have all been found within these mountains. The Burning Hand has taken measures to ensure their their mines are heavily guarded and their trade routes are secure.

Earthscar Chasm
All who visit the Earthscar Chasm understand its name, for it resembles a colossal gash in the ground hundreds of miles long. Sheer cliffs line either side of the chasm, making it impossible to cross for all but the most skilled and daring of climbers. Most who travel to the Earthscar Chasm do so to cross the Duranyr Bridge, a massive stone bridge erected by allied dwarves and humans during a time before the Planeshift. The depths of the chasm are almost completely unexplored, and presumed incredibly dangerous.

Ennalath Forest
Perhaps the only remaining forest in the entire Wasteland, the Ennalath Forest stretches hundreds of miles along the south side of the Magmar Mountains. Once the home of the powerful Draegoth Empire, today it is home to many noble houses of gray elf. No heir to the Draegoth Empire has survived the Planeshift, and so each noble house has played a game of alliances and betrayals since the empire's collapse, each trying to claim the right to rule the elven empire. Today, the Ennalath Forest serves as a fragile and melancholic reminder of how beautiful the world once was.

Fire Mesa
Appearing almost as though an area of land was lifted straight up out of the ground, the Fire Mesa is a plateau surrounded almost entirely by sheer cliffs over two hundred feet tall. The mesa is three hundred miles across at its widest point, and nearly five hundred miles long. Being so elevated from the ground, the mesa is also protected from sandstorms and other severe weather systems. Perhaps its most interesting quality are the underground springs of fresh water, a resource almost impossible to find in the Wasteland since the Planeshift.
The Free Cities are the settlements atop the Fire Mesa which are ruled by a council of elected officials and permanent members. Only two paths lead into the Fire Mesa, Coil Reach and Outpost 19, making it one of the most secure locations in the Wastleand.
