Planar travel has been impossible since the Planeshift, the secrets to such powerful magics have been lost. Even so, stories and ancient tomes tell tales of other worlds and the strange creatures which inhabit them.

Elemental Chaos

The fountain from which all creation springs. The other planes of existence would have no form or substance without the Elemental Chaos. It is a terrible place of primal forces and uncontrollable power. The four elements reside here - air, earth, fire, and water - eternally clashing and canceling each other out.
The Elemental Chaos functions like a combination of the Elemental Planes of Air, Earth, Fire, and Water from D&D 3.5e SRD.

Material Plane

The Elemental Chaos manifests through the Material Plane in the form of mountains, rivers, seas, storms, and other forces of nature. The Material Plane is the only power known to bring order to the Elemental Chaos. In all of the planes of existence, the vast majority of mortals are native to the Material Plane and call it home. It is infinite and staggeringly large, perhaps too large to ever fully explore.

Ethereal

Some mortals who have survived a near-death experience recall memories of a fog-ridden world populated with lost spirits and dangerous creatures. The Ethereal is said to be a dimension of swirling mists, a land where the dead may become trapped if they do not find their way back to the fountains of creation.
The Ethereal functions just as the Ethereal Plane from D&D 3.5e SRD.

Shadowfell

A twisted mirror of the Material Plane, home to beings who thrive in darkness and shadow. The Shadowfell is coexistent with the Material Plane and shares the same geography and landmarks, but these features are warped and diminished reflections of their true form on the Material Plane.
Shadowfell functions just as the Plane of Shadow from D&D 3.5e SRD.

Astral Sea

The connective tissue of the planar cosmology, the Astral Sea is a conduit between nearly all planes of reality. The Astral Sea is a great, endless sphere of clear silvery sky, both above and below. Occasional bits of solid matter can be found here, but most of the Astral Sea is an endless, open domain. Beings of great magical power are able to use the Astral Sea to travel between the countless planes of existence.
The Astral Sea functions just as the Astral Plane from D&D 3.5e SRD.

Outer Planes

In the time before the Planeshift, the gods of old were said to reside in the Outer Planes. These worlds of unearthly beauty, harrowing danger, and exciting adventure are the focus of legends and tall tails on the Material Plane. No one knows today which of the Outer Planes, if any, still exist.

Far Realms

Found only in the furthest reaches of the Astral Sea is the border to the Far Realms. Although no one has ever been known to return from the Far Realms, it is speculated that it is the home to overdeities, powerful gods who care nothing for the worship of mortals, nor the happenings of the other planes.
